The Perverts Cine Club (P.C.C.) at ΛΑΛΑ presents a screening of short films by Kenneth Anger who passed away last month. Arguably considered the grandfather of queer cinema, Anger’s uncompromising vision, combining an experimental attitude towards narrative and a luscious baroque camp aesthetic, still appears as luminary and mind-blowing today, a showcase of what queer cinema in the deepest sense can be. The screening will be introduced by artist Krzysztof Honowski. Doors open at 20:30 and screening starts at 21:00. Films and presentation will be in English.

Τhe Perverts Cine Club (P.C.C.) started in May 2022. The Club’s purpose is to showcase rare avant-garde works of queer and underground pervert cinema, as well as to reclaim cinema from institutions and “art history”. Our goal is to create a self-organized, independent, alternative archive of the perverted moving image, in the anti-institutional queercore vein of our beloved Jack Smith, to whom our action is dedicated.
