For the first time with parallel live commentary by the film director, we screen the radically feminist, revolutionary in form and content, avant-garde film IDÉES FIXES / DIES IRAE (Variations on the Same Subject, 1977) by Antoinetta Angelidi. A film on the representations of female body in contemporary art, about “gender as construction and not as destiny”, that caused a scandal when it was first screened. We hope you come to see and listen and discuss with Antoinetta and her film.
The film is in French and Greek, and will be screened with Greek subtitles. The commentary will be in Greek.
