Women’s experimental film & video: structuralism & language (1959-2017)

February 6, 2026 8:00 pm

We return with the second installment in the new series of screenings of rarely seen women’s / feminist experimental film & video. This week we focus on structuralism, film languages, text as image, film and video as materials. Within the history of women’s experimental film, formal innovation and the disruption of cinematic convention often intertwines with body politics and gender analysis.

The films will be presented in English or/and with EN subs. Entrance is free, donation-based.
