The Perverts Cine Club returns this season with a new series of screenings of rarely seen women’s experimental film & video, thematically organised. This Sunday we start with films around representational abstraction and visual poetry. Within the history of experimental film, non-representational and fragmentary imagery are seen a way to reach new communicative possibilities and non-logocentric discourses; women’s abstract film work has been at the forefront of this.
Be advised that films include strong flicker effects and are not appropriate to photosensitive persons.
