Between the aseptic funeral homes and the dusty churches, Hadrien Daigneault-Roy envisions a performative third space to bring forth a protean funeral ritual. The 𝘈𝘵𝘭𝘢𝘴 attempts to tame death through the figure of the professional mourner and its specter-drag embodiment. Emerging from her grave, the prostitute of tears leads a ceremony that summons Madame Death—resplendent in her pink tutu and clutching a butterfly net.
