In this new series of screenings, ΛΑΛΑ and the Perverts Cine Club are looking at the history of radical, punk, freakish, abstract, terrorist drag. We start our investigation with a screening of the documentary The Cockettes, about the avant-garde anarchist drag troupe from San Francisco with the same name, operating between the late 60s and early 70s.
